FAQ
Frequently asked questions about industrial 3D printing
Short, clear answers about quotes, files, materials, quality and delivery. If you can't find what you're looking for, email us.
01
Quotes and orders
How soon will I get a quote?
Within 24 hours of receiving your file. The technical quote includes a manufacturability analysis, a material recommendation, the price and the production lead time.
What should a quote request include?
The CAD file (preferably STEP), the quantity, mechanical and thermal requirements, critical dimensions and the required date. If you have a technical drawing, attach it.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. We print anything from a single prototype to small, medium and large batches.
How much does it cost to 3D print a part?
The price depends on the part volume, material, print time and inspection requirements. Because every part is different, we don't use a fixed price list: you get the exact price in the technical quote, within 24 hours.
02
Files and design
What file type should I send?
We recommend STEP (.step / .stp), which preserves the exact geometry of the CAD model. If you have critical tolerances, attach the technical drawing as well or note the key dimensions in your request.
Can you help me optimise my part for printing?
Yes. The manufacturability analysis includes orientation recommendations and, where relevant, geometry adjustments for better strength and accuracy.
Will my files stay confidential?
Yes. The files we receive are used solely for analysis, quoting and production.
What materials do you use for 3D printing?
We work exclusively with industrial materials: engineering polymers, including reinforced grades and high-temperature materials. We choose the material based on the part's mechanical, thermal and environmental requirements and recommend it in the technical quote.
Why do you only use industrial materials?
Because our parts have to perform: carry loads, withstand temperature and hold their dimensions. General-purpose materials can't guarantee that.
Can the parts withstand high temperatures?
Yes, with the right materials: we use industrial polymers rated for continuous operation under load up to 150 °C, for example for under-the-hood vehicle parts.
04
Quality and tolerances
What dimensional tolerances can you achieve?
We work to a dimensional tolerance of ±0.2 mm. The exact tolerance for your part depends on geometry and material and is confirmed in the technical quote.
How do you check part quality?
We are ISO 9001 certified and work under a certified quality management system. Bed and chamber temperatures are logged throughout every print. After printing, every part is dimensionally inspected against engineering tolerances, and load-bearing parts are mechanically tested before shipping.
Can I replace a metal part with a 3D-printed one?
Often, yes. Reinforced engineering-polymer components can replace heavy metal assemblies at a much lower weight. We analyse the loads, operating temperature and tolerances before recommending a replacement.
05
Production and delivery
How long does production take?
It depends on part size, quantity and material. The exact lead time is in the technical quote, which you receive within 24 hours.
Do you work with clients outside Cluj?
Yes. We manufacture in Cluj-Napoca and work with partners across Transylvania, the rest of Romania and Europe. Quote requests are handled entirely online.
